ORGAN CONCERT

Chapel of the Christ (MLC), New Ulm

British organist, Tom Bell will present a concert on the Schantz pipe organ at Martin Luther College.
As a performer, Tom plays regularly around the UK and abroad. Recent trips have taken him to Denmark and the USA, with a return to America this October to play at the National Cathedral (Washington, D.C.), Trinity Church (Boston), South Church (Portsmouth, NH), and MLC. His debut CD, on the Regent label, was released this year. Tom aims to present varied programs. Besides performing a wide array of established repertoire, he is committed to commissioning and performing new works.

Doors open at 7:30 PM.
Although this event is not presented by STAGO, the Executive Committee has arranged for the admission cost to be $5/each for STAGO members and one guest , with the remaining portion being paid by chapter funds. Simply identify yourself as a STAGO member.
On Wednesday, October 9, at 8:00 PM in the Chapel of the Christ, Tom Bell will hold a masterclass with 5 MLC students. The masterclass is open and free to anyone who wishes to come and listen. Literature being played is by Bach, Buxtehude, and Boellmann.
